About the Convention

The Just Transition Convention Bangladesh 2025 is a landmark national gathering that brings together trade unions, policymakers, civil society, academia, and development partners to shape an inclusive roadmap for the country’s green and digital future. Anchored in the theme “Uniting for Just and Fair Future”, the convention seeks to ensure that climate action, energy transition, and technological transformation are aligned with social justice, workers’ rights, and gender equity.

This two-day event will highlight research findings, amplify workers’ voices, and foster dialogue across sectors most affected by climate and technological disruptions. By adopting a National Workers’ Call to Action, the convention will lay the foundation for a fair, worker-centered transition that leaves no one behind.
